Samuel Cocking Garden
Outdoor | Avg price: ¥200 | English Available: None (Unknown)
Decent but Unnecessary
This is a neat little garden in the middle of the island. However, I am not sure if it is worth costing extra, even if it is just 200 yen per person. The size of the garden is not that big, and considering that you are already surrounded by nature when you are on Enoshima: the ocean, the mountain, greens, etc, this curated garden feels a bit out of place. So it is not a bad place at all, but there is also no particular need to go, and you can save the money for icecream instead.
Historical botanic garden at Enoshima
If you're visiting Enoshima and enjoy botanical gardens, definitely stop by the Samuel Cocking Gardens. The gardens were established back in the late 1800s, and you'll find a mix of both Japanese and Western style horticultural design here. The admission price is a very reasonable 200 yen for adults and 100 yen for children.
