    Good for breakfast

One thing that can be difficult about life in Japan is grabbing an early bite to eat. So many places don't open until 10 (or later!), sometimes limiting your options to convenience store fare. Dean & Deluca in Shibuya open at 7am daily, and they have quite a few good, quick breakfast options like avocado toast. If you need an early bite, this is a good option.

    Great but Pricy Tea

Dean & DeLuca is a great place to sit down for a break with a warm drink, but given the situations now, it is not the time to do that. What is really nice is that they have plenty of great teas to go, so not only is it a cafe, but also a great place to get a quick and delicious gift for friends and family, including many blends that cannot be found elsewhere. I personally really like their Paris tea. Just know that this is not a cheap place, so while you are there, really get ready to relax and get the most out of it.

Would you fancy a cup of tea?

When you are around Shibuya Stream, Dean & Deluca is a convenient cafe where you can ease off. During afternoon break, it's good to have a cup of tea or coffee. You can opt to sit in the counter, outdoors or even in the terrace seating. My favorite spot is the latter. Day before yesterday, I grabbed their seasonal drink called, "Matcha Shiruco." Yes, it is a Japanese-inspired hot tea drink. It's interesting how the chewy white balls and green tea gotogether. The modest sweetness of the Matcha Latte comes from sweetened red beans. It's something different , and it's a good thing. A must-try while it is still out!
