    I finally got the chance to check out Tim Ho Wan, the Hong Kong dim sum restaurant with a Michelin 1 star! The only confusing part is when looking at their menu, it says "Awarded One Michelin Star 2010 to 2018". I'm not sure if it is still a Michelin star rating or if this was an old menu. If so, then I was a little bummed out since that was the main reason for visiting the restaurant chain haha. Located in Hibiya Chanter, about a 2 minute walk from Hibiya Station and next to the Godzilla statue is the famous dim sum chain. Unfortunately, we came here during lunch time, and ended up waiting wait felt like an hour for a seat. There were many businessmen as well as tourists that waited in this long line with us. While nearing the front of the line, the workers handed us a menu and order form so that we could put our orders in early instead of waiting til seated. I think this method is necessary for crowded places such as these. I'm not sure if I've ever had Hong Kong styled dim sum but this place did not disappoint. However, I definitely would not wait an hour here. Everything we ordered did taste good, but nothing really stood out or was spectacular. On their website they state that they serve traditional Hong Kong dim sum classics such as, Baked BBQ Pork Buns, Steamed Prawn Dumplings, Spring Rolls, Congee, Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaf and Rice Rolls. The only thing from these classics we had were the spring rolls, and I was not too fond of them and the steamed prawn dumplings, which were great! Definitely good food, but probably won't come back, and especially since the line is insane. I'll just stick to my favorite Taiwan style dimsum (Din Tai Fung).
