It's not Michelin starred, but it's tasty and cheap

Look - I enjoy a good meal as much as the next person, but sometimes I just want quick and cheap. I also want somewhere that's going to be open! I was in Tokyo during obon and a ton of the more mom-and-pop styled restaurants were closed for the holiday, so when hunger strikes I usually look for something familiar. This Saizeriya location is tucked away on the basement floor of a building, and in all other respects it's pretty much your standard Saizeriya. Cheap, quick, convenient. My meal was just a tad over 500yen which included a pasta dish and some focaccia bread. The lady who served me was lovely and friendly - I'm a sucker for great customer service and she was so nice! Again, this place isn't going to win any Michelin stars anytime soon, but when you want a meal that isn't going to break the bank and want it served up before you start getting all hangry, I recommend it.
