    Daiba Park

Many people know the Odaiba beach and the closeby shopping centers Aqua City, Diver City and Venus Fort but did you know that there is a very green park just closeby? If you are walking to the end of the Odaiba beach, you will reach the Daiba park, which is a national historic park. The park has cannons, an ancient goverment building and a gunpowder storehouse. Besides the historical part it is a perfect place to take a break from the city and enjoy the view over the water and the rainbow bridge. The park is just next to the rainboxbridge from were you have an unique view to the bridge. During the cherry blossom season it is a popular spot for Hanami, but also during other seasons it is great to have a picnic there. The nearby school also use the park for their school sports activity, that´s why you can see often kids running around there or playing on the huge field in the middle of the park.
